Thanks to this block, I now "get" paper piecing--both how to do it, and why people enjoy it so much.
When I was in high school I had a friend who lived out in the country and if a hot air balloon was in the area it would often land on his family's property. I got to help deflate and put away balloons more than once! Traditionally the property owners would get a bottle of champagne as a thank you.
