Lyssa's April Blocks

Hello to Lyssa, our April Queen for Hive 5 and my fellow honey bees. The tutorial for Purse Strings Block was very easy to follow. I like the color choices, modern and appealing. Here are my blocks, hanging in a wild service berry bush on our hillside.

Service berry was used by Natives in pemican. It is a sweet fruit, full of iron.

I made several clusters of half square triangles for Lyssa, too!! When I sewed the corners, I added an extra seam and cut off the HSTs. Yay!
