Tori thank you for picking this block. It's so satisfying to make that I ended up making extras. The thing I photographed my blocks on has black slits in it and those black marks shows up in a few of the lighter colored blocks.
I have been to a quilting retreat that ended up being only semi successful from a sewing point of view. Our hotel room was missing furniture so we couldn't set up our machines to sew outside of classes. I was at the retreat with friends so we ended up talking about quilting more than we actually pieced or quilted.
