Although this block was relatively easy to put together, the hardest part was finding soft colored fabrics in my stash. Most of my stash is saturated in color. I hope Kelly likes it!
Kelly asked for our opinion on the best tool for a new quilter. I'd have to say there are two: a machine you feel comfortable with and a good stash of needles. There's nothing worse than working on a machine you are not familiar with. Take the time to get familiar with your machine; find the quarter inch foot, learn how to back stitch, and change your stitch length. Then make sure you have good machine needles in your stash. A good needle makes a difference.
TTFN!
