Our hive has used so many bright colors for our previous blocks, so it was a fun change to work on something monochromatic. I think this finished quilt is going to look great!
Tisha wanted to know what our favorite and least favorite parts of the quilt making process are. For me, I really love piecing! I think it it my math/engineering background but the precision of piecing and building shapes from bits of fabric really appeals to me. Quilting is probably my least favorite simply because I am intimidated by everything but straight lines at this point so I feel limited in what I can do.
