August Block for Monica, Hive 2

I must admit this is my favourite block on Stash Bee this year, I love this block, in fact it is on my bucket list, wonderful.  Thank you so much for introducing me to it Monica.

It was a lovely block to make too, I hope you like the fabrics and it fits in well with the others.  Sorry about the pic, I had it ready to go in the mail when I realised I had forgot to take the pic.  I cropped it and your block does have points, honest.

Hey All! I took a trip in July which turned out to be much longer than anticipated. I did not bring my fabrics or machine with me so I was very far behind on my July Block.

Queen Bee Mary Ann asked for the garden Star block.
I hope this block is what you were looking for Mary Ann.  I had a little trouble trying to figure out the best way to do this block since it was an odd size for me.  It looks like such an easy block.

Returned home from a business trip today and made a beeline for the sewing room to work on Monica's block. Tried out a could of different fabric combinations before settling on this one. Hope you like it.
