Hive #1 October Block-To the Moon and Back!

As opposed to September's block, this block has been my favorite of the entire bee.  I'd never made a book case block, but I see several more in my future!  I've recently learned to do machine applique, so it was an interesting challenge to use some of these new found skills.

I love this block and got to use some of my favorite fabrics!  I'll send along a few extra books that didn't fit on the shelf as well.
