Now this block I love, Zig Zag Path, which is already on the way. It's a perfect bee block in my opinion and from the given illustration a finished quilt made from this block would appear to have a quilting illusion too. If you haven't seen it before I would definitely check it out.

Kate, you are correct, this is a beautiful block. I am so glad you chose to make the alternate. I plan to put yours in the center of my Stash Bee quilt this year.
But, I may just have to make a whole quilt of these blocks to see how they look together!
