Hive 2 - Block for Helen

November, our last month of Stash Bee 2015 and we're making modern court house steps for Helen!  this was another great scrap buster, pulling my orange scrap drawer open, I managed to put the following together:

Then I got all silly excited when I found this selvage in my pile. . .Helen's Garden for our Queen Bee Helen:

These were so much fun to pull together!

Helen, you asked if we rolled with the mistakes we make in our quilting or throw them away. . .I have to admit it would depend on the project at hand and how much of the fabric is available :)
