Well, this took me long enough. These blocks have been finished and mailed out for awhile, but there have been some technology issues on my end that prevented any posting. 
I really enjoyed making these, and made the pair so I'd have enough different greens- I had a stack of 4" wide strips out from trimming for another project and they were perfect. Very Christmas-y (and I had to rescue them from the household Christmas fiend, who wants more to make a runner out of).
