Just some extra fun for Hive 2

I'm in Hive 4 but couldn't resist making a few fun bookshelf blocks for Hive 2. I love bookshelf quilts. These are two separate blocks place side by side for the photo. Hope you can add them to your quilt.

Hive #2 October for Rachelle

These turned out to be quite fun to make, and I hope these fit the bill for you Rachelle.

Some of them are a little large, so you can trim those to suit yourself, I shall try to get them in the post quickly. ( see how co-operative my OH feels!)

October Block for Jenny

I promise the pinks are pink and not orange which they do look on this photograph, and the purples I think are purple, I do hope you think so when you receive the block.

Took a while to do, three episodes of Journey into Space, one Yes Minister and one Navy Lark, thank heavens for BBC radio i player.

October Wonky Blocks for Vickey

I just love a wonky star! I had great fun doing this block, although it is perhaps not as wonky as I'd hoped!

The wonky log cabin, well this was a first for me but I used Quilt Dad fantastic tutorial. I hope it is ok for you, they'll be in the post from the UK asap :-)

Hive 1, October Block for Vickey

Hi Vickey, I hope you like these blocks. They were a ton of fun to make and easy enough as well. I sent them out in the mail yesterday so you should get these soon. I can't wait to see the quilt that you create. All of the blocks are so bright and cheerful.

Hive 1 October Block for Vickey

Here are the blocks I finished.  I really like the way they turned out, I hope you do too.  Once again I learned a bit and stretched my boundaries.  Thanks!  I have them out to you in the next couple of days.

Hive 3 for Diane

Well, now I am going to admit that this whole"create a flower" block kind of freaked me out. But after some Flicker inspiration I came up with this. This is the first time I have experimented with machine top-stitching applique. Pretty fun!

Thanks Diane:)
