February Hive 2 Granny Square

I've seen this block many times but have never made one.  The directions were easy but I didn't quire understand how all the blocks would come together.  So I looked at one of the tutorial links provided and after seeing how they trim the blocks, it all made sense.  I will definitely be doing more of these blocks!  I love the simple patchwork piecing but that it's a bit more interesting with the centers and rounds of color.  I used some very rich, saturated colors and love the way it turned out.  I hope you like it as well!

Hmm.. since I got done early in the month, might have to make another one or see what other Hive I might crash!
