Hive #1 September block for Laura

What an adventure to make this block; 

My sewing machine broke down and I went over to my mother's to make the block. 

Only to discover she doesn't have a 1/4" foot!

I eyeballed the seams and they turned out just fine....pfiew!!!!

I'm very curious to see the end result of all the blocks together :-)
