This months question is about family traditions. Great question! We have so very many traditions. Some are food traditions past on from generations past and others are ones my husband and I have made important and hope get passed on.
Being from Michigan we have a tradition of "going up north". It's a phrase here which means traveling hours north within our own state. Our family does this many many times each year. We love our time up north relaxing lol...the joke here is it is anything from "relaxing". Our days are packed full of fun, physical, outdoor activities. Hiking, biking, kayaking, tubing, swimming, snorkeling, fishing, camping, geocaching, horse shoes, baseball, American football (soccer),four-wheeling, snow mobile riding, skiing, sledding, chopping wood for the nights campfire, cooking over said fire, night hikes to star gaze...the list goes on and on. But the point is this up north tradition is firmly rooted in our family and I fully expect my children to continue this with their children.
Melodee, your traveling "up north" definitely sounds like so much fun and exhausting!! Must be nice to go, and nice to come home and rest! :) What lovely blocks!! These are turning out so pretty!! Thank you!!
