Hive 6 Improv block for Kate

Happy Thursday!  I had such a fun time making this improve star for Kate.  It was so liberating to not use a ruler.

I would have to say my favorite thing about quilting is deciding on what I will do as well as choose fabric for the project.  I tend to lean towards paper piecing or traditional piecing.  I don't really have a least favorite technique, if I had to choose, it would be small piecing.  I tend to paper piece when the blocks get too small and there are many parts to it.
