Hive 2 October blocks

These Improv blocks were fun. I picked the fabric and looked at them for days before cutting.

I really love these earthy colors, especially the purple. I can't wait to see what Kaja does with all the blocks.

I admire and follow many quilters. I love seeing original designs and striking color combinations.

I saw Jacquie Gering speak recently and hearing her thoughts behind her quilts are inspiring.  My friend Cath at Wombat quilts is always surprising me with new ideas, colors and patterns.
