This is the first block i made and was worried the blue was a little too white. . .but Angela loved it!
So I pulled some more fabrics and made one more. . .probably too heavy on the floral side, so please don't use this one as guidance for fabric choosing. But I'll send it along anyway.
Favorite childhood memory would have to be going with dad to see the Empire Strikes Back. Oh we were so jazzed about going, it was opening on my birthday weekend. We had been talking about it for weeks. . .I'm not sure I slept!
Arriving at the theater, I remember we stood in line to be allowed to stand in the line for the tickets. Once we finished the ticket line with tickets in hand, we were escorted to another line for seat placement and then there was the line to get into the theater. Once we were finally in the doors, we stood in line to get the popcorn and then we stood in line to get to our seats. . .lol! Oh it was magical. . .you know, after we stood in line.

Ah Caroline, having just returned from Easter in New York, that is what I love about USA - people queue in an orderly fashion and eventually you get to the front of the queue - all done fairly!! Your squares are great, have to get mine done.
