A little bit late for October, but here are my final sets of blocks for Stash Bee as I won't be signing up for 2014 - I'm expecting our first child in February next year and I think that will keep me busy enough!
November (I love this block - such a great method for putting it together)
Thank you to everyone for a great year and a half of lovely blocks, and thank you for the ones you sent me back in October last year! I still haven't done anything with them, but I will. I promise.
Here are my November blocks for Alison. These are my final blocks. I won't be joining stashbee again. I am going to get my hands into refashioning thrifted clothing! I have been following refashion runway on The Renegade Seamstress's blog, it looks like so much fun!
Hope you like them Alison and Congratulations!
Oh dear, they were disaster from the beginning, these two are the fourth and fifth attempts after much unpicking and a fortune in the swear box. I think the design is lovely, the method just does not enter my brain patterns. Today is gray and dull and I had to photograph them indoors and because I was trying to avoid shadows the one on the right looks an odd shape, it is the same size and shape as its friend, i promise. Only Allah makes that which is perfect, so maybe my blocks will keep the universe on an even keel with everyone else's perfect ones.
Here are the last blocks of the bee. It's been fun. I will post pictures when I have my quilt done. Hope you like these. It was a great block I'm going to do one myself. These are from Amber and I they were mailed yesterday. And congratulations on your marriage.
